The shipping and transport capitol of Miramar, La Cobrería’s most prominent feature is it’s enormous Rail Yard. Here, players will hunt and be hunted among the half-buried cargo of a long dead industry. Careful players should loot the schools and campuses that dot this town before attempting to hold the Yard.

Bluehole seems to have an especially broad demographic in mind with Ascent: Infinite Realm . The trailer practically shouts that there’s something here for everyone: Dragons to hunt, flying aircrafts to pilot (and destroy), properties and communities to build, and more. It’ll be up to Bluehole, though, to ensure that it doesn’t spread itself too thin; that each element is sufficiently fleshed-out to warrant the repeated revisiting that maintains successful online games. Lightning struck once with PUBG — it remains to be seen whether it’ll strike ag
Valle del Mar is a colorful oceanside town bisected by the De Toro bridge. To the West of the bridge is a quaint school, and to the East, a beautiful church. The key to holding this town is bridge control, as it’s the only direct route between mainland and the island.

A trailer for the game – seen above – clocks in at over five minutes — and shows off quite a bit. There are indeed airships and dragons, along with jetpack-like boosters, gatling guns, mechs, and estate-building. At various points throughout the trailer, players can be seen taking control of airships, be it as pilots or turret gunners. The website suggests that PvP airship combat will be a staple of the game, explaining that “Using airships, flying mounts, or free falling, you can experience multi-dimensional battles through warfare in the open s
For the unaware, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG as it’s also referred to as, is the king of the battle royale genre, a game type where 100 players drop into a massive open environment and must loot, shoot, and survive. Players can play solo, with a friend, or in a squad of four as they collect gear, weapons, and armor and attempt to outlast the opposition any way they can as the map gradually forces players into increasingly confined spa
Still, for a sample understanding of why the game has been all the rage on PC, the Xbox version does at least show what it’s like to drop in amongst so many other players with nothing but your wits, skills, and ability to manage the worst shooter mechanics imaginable. If you’re okay with most aspects of the game being sub-par, you can still get in on a big battle royale experience, we just can’t recommend it in its current state. Fortnite , although a very different kind of 100-person battle royale, is not only polished, but free-to-play as an alternat
Ascent: Infinite Realm’s site also lists the character classes that the game will offer: Sorceress, mystic, warlord, assassin, and gunslinger. They appear to fit into traditional RPG archetypes of mage, healer, warrior, thief/rogue, and hunter/marksman, respectively. Given how unconventional the rest of the game seems to be, it’s a bit surprising to see rather conventional options in the character creation department. Perhaps the future reveal of subclasses (each class will have two of them) will deepen and diversify gameplay opti
The largest city in the region, Los Leones features ample shopping, a skyline filled with new construction, and a glorious, golden-hued City Center. Players should secure high vantage points by exploring the numerous construction sites, and loot for gear in the cavernous, abandoned commercial buildings.
El”You probably won’t believe me when I say this but whenever I go online and I hear other players use the same kind of language I did, I always find it extremely immature and stupid. And I hate how I now personally fed into that part of gaming as well. It was something I said in the heat of the moment. I said the worst word I could possibly think of. And it just sort of slipped out. I’m not going to make any excuses as to why it did because there are no excuses for it. I’m disappointed in myself because it seems like I’ve learned nothing from all these past controversies. And it’s not that I think I can say or do whatever I want and get away with it. That’s not it at all. I’m just an idi
Remember when there was talk about the Xbox One X enhanced version of PUBG hitting 60 fps before it was corrected and stated that it’d only run at 30? Maybe someone misheard “16.” You’d be lucky to get that at the start of a match. It’s unbelievable that this game was allowed to be released in this state on consoles, no matter how many disclaimers are built into the m
Performance aside, pubg missions is simply a bad “shooter” with an awful control scheme on Xbox. Reloading a weapon for instance in the heat of battle requires players to hold down the ‘X’ button instead of just pressing it quickly. Aiming down sites isn’t holding down the left trigger, it’s tapping it. Inexplicable, holding down the trigger instead just slightly tightens the crosshair (it does the same on PC). Sometimes it won’t even work unless it’s tapped perfectly. Getting in and out of vehicles are two separate buttons and if you want to pick up a specific item from a pile of loot on the ground or move mods from one weapon to another, you better hide yourself for a few minutes. PUBG does not work well on consoles at all in its current state and needs another year in the oven. Even the little things, like basic matchmaking problems with friends or typos in the menus, aren’t addressed. It’s the sloppiest award-winning game, and the poorest performing shooter we’ve seen on current generation conso
