Red Dead Redemption II is an awesome game. One I’ve been pouring over for more than a week now. I’m discovering new things every day as well as the larger community of fans out there. Compared to most open world games, discovery is actually a tricky thing because travel is actually really taxing. Red Dead Redemption 2 takes place in 1899; roughly twelve years before the original Red Dead Redemption. Players take on the role of outlaw gang member, Arthur Morgan, who is the right-hand man for the gang’s leader, Dutch van der Linde. This next map is a bit difficult to find, since it happens on a chance encounter. Most notably found lurking at the top of a large rock to the northeast of Riggs Station, an older treasure hunter will hold the first map in the hunt; however, he is not willing to give up the map or sell it, so you’ll have to either rob him, tie him up, knock him down and make him drop the map so you can get it, or just end him permanently. I’m quite proud to say I discovered this next anomaly on my own. It was fairly early on in the game. I was heading back to camp from Valentine on the main road when I discovered a red trail leading up to a bridge. There you can start the serial destroyer’s quest, which is quite intense.
