Even if you suffer a lot early game and die in lane quite a bit, you can still make a reliable reverse sweep in the middle and late game, as long as you manage your build and resources properly and plan your team fights. While dying in a MOBA is usually a serious thing as it gives your enemy an advantage, in DOTA2 this advantage has a chance of being turned on its h
The meta has been shifting drastically lately, and Riot wasn’t able to iron out all of the changes during the preseason. From removing the monstrosity that was Akali to bringing back crit ADC’s, there are some massive changes in patch 9.4 that have definitely altered the meta. The good news is that it is a great time to be playing if you want the ability to carry the game and put the team on your back. There is a wide variety of champions who are currently very strong no matter what your preferred role. Whether you’re looking to drag yourself out of the pits of Iron or maintain your high level, these are the strongest champions in each r
Genesis opens by explaining that humans and aliens teamed up to go through a portal in space. There are unknown dangers on the other side, which warranted the formation of a group of specialized individuals. Right after, you’re dropped onto a single-lane bridge and put in control of the beginner-friendly archer hero. Sound familiar? I immediately had flashbacks to the League of Legends tutorial. Genesis does try to set itself apart by focusing more on story. The tutorial introduces mysterious aliens that attack our alliance of heroes. What they are, and why they’re hostile, is a matter for the campaign. Oh yeah, there’s a full-on campaign mode. Too bad it doesn’t work at the moment, an issue the devs are actively fixi
Support has always been the least coveted role in League of Legends, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t fill an important position. While oftentimes support is occupied by an autofilled player, it is still definitely possible to carry games in solo queue playing support, especially with the introduction of P
However, while it’s easy to understand the game and get into it, it’s still a complex MOBA title and will be extremely difficult to master. The good news is, your learning curve won’t be as steep to climb as in DOT
Aphelios has 5 unique weapons that each start with 50 Moonlight (Ammo). His basic attacks cost 1 Moonlight, and his abilities (Q and R) cost 10. Once his Moonlight hits 0 he will switch to the next weapon in the queue. Also, instead of upgrading his abilities when he levels up (like the other 146 champions in the game), the player can choose to upgrade either his Attack Damage, Attack Speed, or Armor Penetrat
Pokemon go directly to Mobapulse is, as usual, a little more family-friendly with its Halloween 2019 event. Players can catch versions of the four starter pokemon in cute Halloween costumes , including Pikachu dressing up as Mimikyu. There are also lots of goodies for trainers, special Field Research assignments, and the chance to battle against Darkrai in a five-star r
Halloween is right around the corner, which means it’s just about the time many games roll out a special spooky surprise. A number of the events have already begun, and more are on the way, so here’s a handy round-up of all 2019’s in-game Halloween events announced so
While beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we’re going to argue that DOTA2 just has a better look in general due to its slightly less cartoon-like and pixelated graphics. The terrain is really beautiful and vibrant, and the hero details in-game just provide some extra that isn’t found in Leag
Instead of the 4 standard abilities that most champions have, Aphelios has 5 weapons that he equips throughout the game. He holds a main weapon and an off-hand weapon which alter his basic attack and abilities. While his kit can be extremely confusing, his versatility can give players the opportunity to outplay their opponents in any situation. This guide will help players learn all of the basics that Aphelios needs to dominate the R
The top of the tier list are Karthus, Kha’Zix , Lee Sin, Kayn, Shyvana, Xin Zhao, and Nunu. While champions like Lee Sin have been strong for quite some time, Nunu and Karthus really stand out at the time. Karthus allows for a more carry type of Jungler who is capable of dealing a lot of damage. His ultimate makes sure that no matter what, he will have an impact across the
The biggest change is the addition of a win condition. Either team could destroy the opposing base to claim victory, but they can also just get 60 kills. The idea, I imagine, is to stop that endgame drag that always happens in close matches. Both sides hunker down in their bases, carefully turning back creep tides and maybe jungling. But mostly they play it safe, retreating the moment a team fight seems to be going bad. It’s tedious, boring, and only amplifies post-match toxicity because the stalemate usually ends when someone gets antsy and gives up a team fight. In Genesis, you can play it safe all you want but one side will eventually get 60 kills. In theory. In my 6-7 hours of play this only happened once. That match still went on a little too long. So while the ultimatum does pressure teams to actually push lanes, it isn’t a complete cure for turtl
