The important part of playing the Sharpshooter is to maximize your Hawk Meter by using skills like Blade Storm. Because of the Death Strike Class Engraving, the Hawk becomes even more powerful and is a staple part of your damage-dealing ability. You want to apply Last Rush with the Hawk – this provides a massive damage debuff on the raid boss, meaning it takes extra damage for 8 seconds. Follow up with your burst in this window.
Another familiar Engraving, Cursed Doll provides a solid 16% attack power boost at the cost of reduced healing (25%) when you use potions and other items. The tradeoff is worth it.
Keen Blunt Weapon
It’s worth making it to the end of the Anime Game Guide, currently set at level 50. Lost Ark’s endgame content is fantastic. If the story doesn’t grab you – and it might not – then rest assured that your hours aren’t going to be wasted. The PvE and PvP endgame content is so good, and extremely addictive. Chaos Dungeons, Raids, and PvP Arenas make up the bulk of what you’ll be doing on a daily basis (a lot of this content has daily and weekly resets, which is why people play on alts). Nothing is compulsory, everything you do during your daily time with the game is rewarding and engrossing.
If you’ve got the space for a fifth Engraving (you won’t at the start, check out our Engravings guide if you need more info on that) then grab the other Sharpshooter class Engraving, Loyal Companion. It provides a solid boost to your Hawk gauge (+30%) as well as extra movement speed and damage.
Stat Focus For The Sharpshooter Dungeon Build
Cone-shaped explosion, longer cooldown (+4s), and extra 100% damage to Challenge or lower enemies
Awakening Skill – Golden Eye. Both Engravings are viable, but Golden Eye often finds itself in Dungeon-clearing builds thanks to its massive AoE output. It’s faster than Fenrir’s Messenger, the other class Engraving, and doesn’t need to be charged up. Instant hit for lots of damage. Can’t really go wrong with it.
Most importantly, the damage-enhancing support skills for the Bard and Paladin have the same effectiveness, so most groups don’t care who you bring. Ultimately, pick what you find the most fun or who you think looks the coolest.
Rage is always full, with damage increased by 4% at level 1, 9% at level 2, and 18% at level 3. Attack speed and movement speed increased by 15%. Reduces max HP to 25%, but you take 65% less damage.

The Paladin’s Identity skill revolves around their Piety Meter , a gauge that grants access to one of two powerful buffs when full—a damage buff or a support aura. As we’ve just mentioned, you’re going to be using Holy Aura the most to frequently buff the damage of your allies. In general, you’ll want to ignore Sacred Executioner (the blue buff) unless you’re playing solo content.
Lost Ark’s Paladin class—otherwise known as the Holy Knight—is one of two support roles in the game, matched only by the Bard. The class is valuable in both PvP and PvE content and is one of the more reliable classes to pick up and play for your first run through the game.
