Valorant also feels like a perfect esports game. While a game like CS:GO has had success, perhaps its simplicity has held it back. There’s something about the “pop” of Valorant that makes it so exciting to watch, as even ESPN has announced an upcoming Valorant invitational . It’s a hyper-competitive game that gives players the one-more-round feel and is ultra-colorful, exciting, and uni
Run it Back is a rather limited ultimate, however, that does not speak for its insane utility. Run it Back allows Phoenix players unmatched aggression and recon. Phoenix can potentially rush an enemy team without fear of dying. It also allows players to scout where the enemy team is allowing for some powerful recon application. Run it Back is a simple ultimate but that does not impact its insanely powerful implications throughout a ma
The cool thing about VALORANT is of course its range of characters, known as agents. Currently, there are 10 agents available in the game, some of which need to be unlocked as players play the game. This is called contract activat
Phoenix’s ultimate is one of the most interesting in the game. As it provides the fire-casting character some of the best survivability in the game. Run it Back allows Phoenix to create sneak a peek here clone of himself which is set to a set timer. When this clone is cast Phoenix can travel from his “real” body and attack enemies, see their location, cast his abilities, or do anything he can in his set period. When the time is up he will travel back to where his “real” body is. If the Phoenix clone is defeated before the time is up than the clone will disappear and the Phoenix player will resume from his original location. This ability is one of the best abilities in the game and allows Phoenix players an unprecedented versatil
Breach’s abilities pack a massive punch. Even with slow actuation times, they have impressive range and can completely disorient opponents. He’s one of those characters that I almost put up in the top 3, but his abilities are non-vital. Phoenix’s flash ability seems to be a bit more versatile and athletic than Breach’s, and while his ultimate is powerful and flashy, Brimstone’s seems to have the edge with its killing po
Watching any streamers playing VALORANT , will give a chance of receiving the drop. Make sure the stream has a note under its title, stating that drops are enabled. Players will receive an email when they get the drop, and this can happen hours after they’ve watched a stream, so patience is
One of Omen’s abilities, Shrouded Step, allows him to teleport a short distance. In the first few seconds of a round, this can do a lot to confuse the enemy team; they’ll be coming out and looking at where your team should have to exit from, but meanwhile, you’ve teleported somewhere they weren’t looking and have an easy kill on your ha
In between each round of Valorant, players can purchase a primary, a sidearm, and shield. The weapons that are available can easily be compared to CS:GO. For example, the “Frenzy” in Valorant looks just like the “CZ-75” from CS:GO . The “Phantom” looks like an “AK-47.” And so on and so forth. Some may say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, others would say that Valve uses variations of real-life weapons, and Riot Games just uses those same guns, but spruces them up with a bit of and fantasy and imaginat
Curveball operates in the same manner as the other flashbang style moves in the game. Its utility revolves around a player’s ability to communicate with their teammates. Tossing a curveball means that your teammates need to be right behind you as you rush to finish off the blinded enemies. However, curveball has some tricky utility with both Hot Hands and Blaze as you can toss either a fireball or a flame wall to dish out some huge damage on the enemy team. Using Curveball is a perfect way to set up some powerful combos with either your or your teammate’s abilities, leading to some potential major team wi
Phoenix is unarguably one of the best offensive characters. His Curveball ability is quick and maneuverable, completely obfuscating opponents’ screens. If a Phoenix player knows where you are when attacking, surviving his “flash-peak-shoot” combo is very diffic
Sure, not every creative flank or bold play is going to go your way, but if you continue hitting the enemy team with a variety of aggressive plays, you’re going to have some massive success on some rou
This smoke can also be used to the advantage of the defenders. This smoke can force Attackers to enter a site blindly, making them easy pickings unless they choose the right angle to look at immediately upon leaving the sm
I’m going to get flack for this. But to be honest, one factor makes Omen less viable in the competitive scene: his predictable abilities leave him extremely vulnerable. His smokes are good, but they require manual placement and actuate very slowly. While Brimstone has the same grievances, he can place three smokes with much greater range, rendering Omen’s a worse alternative. His teleportation is also limited in range and quite slow to actuate. As far as his ultimate, it can be quite good, but the fact that everyone is acutely alerted upon its use makes it very difficult to be steal
